Other social clubs are quite predictable and fall into just two categories.
First are the co-working spaces that call themselves communities. They’re facilities that promise you'll be surrounded by interesting people but make no effort to introduce you to one another. It's a great place to be alone, together.
The second type of social club is the one where you go to be seen. Where all the other members have their noses tilted ever so slightly upward. It's the kind of place where they don’t remember your name. Sure, people might be "connecting", but the quality of conversations are tragically low.
Base, on the other hand, is founded first and foremost on genuine connection. Every Dinner, Social, Circle, and Explore experience we create is designed to bring out the best in you and your fellow members. There is no passive membership, no sidelines.
Finally, we don’t choose our members based on their Instagram or LinkedIn profiles. Instead, we accept only those who display radical integrity and a desire for intellectual and social growth.

While catching up with friends can be fun, it’s often easy and repetitive. We tend to stick to the same topics with the same people, and this can go on for years. Base changes that by matching you with people we know will stretch you. People who will force you to grow, and learn, and change. People who will bring out the best in you.
Our matching algorithm is what truly sets this experiences apart. By learning about you—your temperament, style, and proclivities—we match you with other members who are likely to complement you—and more importantly, likely to expand your horizons.
For example, having dinner with six other nurses might be pleasant night out, but could also be a bit dull and not particularly transformative. Instead, imagine a dinner with people from different ages, backgrounds, and professions: a painter, a professor, and a politician.

The Base membership investment is $100 per month, and can be billed on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
Depending on which billing cycle you choose, you will be offered unique ways to connect with other members of the community.
Monthly members will have access to our bespoke dinner matching and monthly social sessions, which act as reunions for all base members.
Quarterly and yearly members will enjoy more intimate and unique connections, with access to Base Circle topical conversations reserved for our most curious and growth-oriented members. You will also have access to Base Explore, designed to push you outside your comfort zone and engage you in collaboration with other members.
